This pick was another hard pick, because every one of the shrines nominated were all very deserving. But the one I picked stood out to me the most, because...
Kitajima Yuuri :: Dragonaut -The Resonance-
Shiori brings a lot to a character from a little known show. I remember she liked to provide info for series that are more obscure, and Oh So Modern Jezebel does that and more. Just a quick look at her media section shows how much effort (and money) she puts in. While the written information, on the other hand, combines humor and seriousness which keeps the reader entertained and informed.
She doesn't pretend anything is wonderful, but takes it as is. She can crack jokes and poke fun at something she loves, and all the while, make it look very good. I initially had little interest in Dragonaut, due to some body proportions, but reading through everything Shiori wrote, I can't quite help but want to give the anime another shot. Even if you have no interest in weird aliens and gravity defying people, Oh So Modern Jezebel is a great read.
Nominations:
Lorelei: Even though Yuuri isn't one of the MAIN main characters, Shiori was able to write a lot of information about the character in a way that's easy to understand even for a person like me who's only vaguely aware of DRAGONAUT -THE RESONANCE-'s existence. Her informational pages are both informative and entertaining to read, and Shiori offers up a fair amount of media, as well. Overall, a very balanced shrine that goes above and beyond to entice some people to give the series a try, as strange as it may be.
