October non-animanga sotm winner

After a night of looking over the shrines that were nominated, I'm happy to announce the non-animanga winner of October's SOTM!


Separate ways
Miles Edgeworth -- Ace Attorney


I was just struck by awe when I visited Varen's tribute to the very famous Edgeworth and was immediately greeted by a charming layout that was both clean and creative! I won't lie to you, I've only managed to complete just one Ace Attorney game, but I have to tell you that this shrine makes me want to play the others (good job!). Varen included the Objection! image that I'm still so fond of and her clever use of quotes still has me rereading over a few sections for kicks. At first, I had the misconceptions Varen had before finishing all the games -- Edgeworth was stoic and unfun. Then I found out things I've never known about Edgeworth, loving Varen's voice in her writing, and, I admit it, I'm now an Edgeworth fan. The Gumshoe section? My favorite. Overall, I love it for it's whimsical design, the clarity of the writing, and, of course, the little button gif of Edgeworth sipping tea on her site page.

Separate ways was nominated by Larissa and here's what she said about it:
"Edgeworth is probably the most developed character in the Ace Attorney games (up there with Phoenix, at least), and Varen does more than recognize that in this shrine - she digs into every aspect of him, from the basic to the complex, with quotes for support. It's a must-read for fans of the frilly prosecutor."

Awww... Thank you so much everyone. ♥ I wish I can fully express the joy I feel right now at this moment... I'm also surprised (and pleased) that my site influenced more interest in Edgeworth.
