June AniManga SOTM

And here is Saya with her part too, it was a difficult choice, believe me, all the sites that were nominated are great and so I come with the winner of the AniManga part!


Golden Phoenix
Layla Hamilton from Kaleido Star

I think this shrine is really great. You can find a really big amount of information, that helps people who haven't seen the anime or just don't know the character to actually understand her. Mikari did an awesome job not only giving the facts, but also her own point of view aside fun things. This shrine is easy and enjoyable to read. Congrats Mikari!

Todd: Mikari's newest site is one everyone should check out, whether they're a fan of Kaleido Star or not. Mikari clearly summarizes the series for new fans, and dives deep into Layla's character exploring her personality, her relationships, and her story. I particularly enjoyed Mikari's personal sections: "Wishful Thinking" and "Similarities" where she literally brought herself into her shrine. Well done.

Destinie: I think Golden Phoenix is another great example of growth within the Amassment community. Mikari has definitely broken out of her comfort zone and has taken a step to make a new type of shrine but filled with her unique touches. This site is a wonderful blend of her own voice with fun pixel adoptions and goodies to information. I find this site interesting too since I have only come across very few Kaleido Star sites in my travels. I think that Mikari did a nice of presenting her information while keeping her site true to her personal style. :)

Yes, definitely! :D I had this huge speech planned and when I saw I won I almost bawled my eyes out. LOL! I'm so happy that Golden Phoenix won, too! Like I said above, I really think it is a great example of how you've grown in making your sites and really deserves to be recognized. :) So, again, congratulations! Keep making awesome sites!!

You and Todd have also inspired me because I have been thinking about making pixel adoptions too, haha!

It's been the most amazing site of the month announcement. I actually saw your post first in my F-list since it was more recent. I was all like "yay Destinie won!" and scrolled to find the Amassment post and leave a message there. I checked out the other winner announcement with no guess of what site could have won and surprise surprise. :o

You should make some, it's fun and since you're an artist it'll be easy to get the hang of it! :D

O.O OMG! This is such a big surprise! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! *glomps everyone* I didn't think Golden Phoenix would win and so soon after its creation. My last revision was just just on time for the judging, though I never could have guessed it was nominated, let alone that it would be chosen. XD Truly it's an unexpected and wonderful surprise. :D
